HR Business Partner (HRBP)

We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and business‑aligned HR Business Partner to support people strategies across assigned business units. This role will act as a trusted advisor to leaders, deliver practical HR solutions that enable business outcomes, and champion an inclusive, high‑performing employee experience. The successful candidate will combine strong HR domain knowledge, operational excellence, data‑driven decision making, and experience partnering with leaders on talent, performance, employee relations, and organizational change.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary HR consultant to assigned business leaders; translate business priorities into people strategies, workforce plans, and actionable HR initiatives.
Partner with talent acquisition to define role requirements, support sourcing and selection, and ensure a positive candidate and onboarding experience that reflects employer brand.
Drive performance management and career development by coaching leaders on goal setting, regular feedback, calibration, succession planning, and talent reviews.
Advise on compensation and rewards within approved frameworks; support job design, pay equity reviews, and recognition programs to attract and retain talent.
Manage employee relations matters for assigned populations including conflict resolution, investigations, disciplinary actions, and return‑to‑work processes, ensuring consistent and legally compliant practices.
Lead or support change management and organizational design activities; provide coaching and communication support to help teams navigate transitions effectively.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise (compensation, benefits, learning, DE&I) to implement programs that support business needs and foster inclusion and belonging.
Use HRIS and workforce analytics to monitor KPIs (turnover, engagement, retention, diversity metrics), generate insights, and present findings and recommendations to business leaders.
Partner with Health & Safety and Operations where applicable to support site‑based programs, training, and compliance requirements that promote a safe and healthy workplace.
Support continuous improvement of HR processes and service delivery for the assigned population; identify opportunities for automation, standardization, and enhanced manager/employee self‑service.
Required Qualifications - Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred.
5+ years of progressive HR experience with demonstrated success as an HR Business Partner or similar role supporting managers and business priorities.
Proven ability to consult with leaders on talent strategies, performance management, organizational design, and employee relations.
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and experience conducting investigations and applying fair, consistent policies.
Experience using HRIS, ATS, and reporting tools to deliver workforce insights and support data‑driven decisions; comfortable with Excel and common HR analytics/visualization tools.
Excellent interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels and build trusted partnerships.
High integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to confidentiality and ethical HR practices.
Preferred Qualifications - Domain & Tools
Experience supporting operations, manufacturing, or site‑based teams and familiarity with workforce scheduling, safety considerations, and shift environments.
Prior exposure to multi‑site or global HR contexts and knowledge of cross‑border workforce considerations.
Advanced training in organizational development, change management, talent assessment, or leadership coaching.
Practical experience with HRIS platforms (Workday, ADP, BambooHR, or similar), ATS systems, payroll integrations, and learning management systems.
Demonstrated success partnering on DE&I, engagement, and culture programs with measurable outcomes.
